Who is A Life of Spirit?
Anita “Nanu” Pagan is a Taino Indian from Ponce, Puerto Rico.
She moved to South Florida in 1989 with her parents and younger brother, and immediately registered as a student of Miami-Dade Community College where she graduated with an A.A. Degree in Sign Language Interpreting for the Hearing Impaired in 1993. Since then she has relocated to Brevard County (East Central FL) where she presently resides with her companion, her child and two cats.
In her professional life, Anita has had experience in a variety of industries, and because of her passion for being of service, most of her employment focused on working with people. But, although she was of service, she felt confined by the limits imposed by her employer. She did her research and found that Life Coaching allows her to be of service and feel the satisfaction of truly helping people achieve their dreams and reach their potential. She is presently a member of the Certified Coaches Alliance in good standing.
Due to her eclectic interests, Nanu has studied and worked in a variety of fields but her passion lies in living a life of Spirit, a life of service to humanity. Nanu recognizes we are ever evolving beings and constantly seeks to expand her knowledge and grow, both personally and spiritually. She devotes ample time to reading, meditation, reflection and the expansion of her personal spirituality through these actions and the ceremonies of her people.
During her personal time, Nanu dedicates time to her family and friends, libraries, bookstores and various hobbies and creative endeavors. She is also medicine woman as well as pipe carrier for her clan and dedicates time not only to her personal relationship to spirit but also to the spiritual needs of ther clan and those who come to her for this purpose.
